New for 2016
We want to share with you some exciting changes ahead for NLLB in 2016, some of which take effect this summer.
First, we are strengthening Majors by making it our only full-season drafted league for 11- and 12-year-olds. This means the elimination of 50/70 as a full-season program and a return to age 12 being the maximum age to participate in NLLB programs. Next year, 50/70 will be offered only in Sunday League. Our graduates are encouraged to continue on with Naperville Baseball Association.
Additionally, we will be holding tryouts for 2016 Majors starting August 14.

Players who were on Majors or Supreme rosters this year and are planning on returning next year do not need to tryout again. Players who played 50/70 this year and who would like to play Majors next year must attend a Majors tryout but are assured of placement on a Majors roster.
By forming the core of our 2016 drafted-league teams this summer, those teams will have the opportunity to play together in Fall Ball and to workout together over the winter, if they so choose.
These decisions were made after soliciting input from managers and coaches of this season's drafted league teams and reflect their overwhelming sentiment. The changes were made by unanimous vote of the NLLB Board of Directors.
As always, if you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to your League Director or Board Members.
